Booklets • Candles • Burners
Each booklet consists of thirty-six pre-cut paper strips, in twelve sheets of three.
The Papier d’Arménie® is used by setting light to a single strip, detached from the booklet one at a time, folded concertina-style, and placed on a heat-proof surface. It can also be used without being lit. Simply place one in a cupboard or drawer and it will slowly release a soft, sweet fragrance.
Another way to experience the scent of Papier d'Arménie® is through a small flame.
When Mireille Schvartz met Francis Kurkdjian, renowned perfumer and designer, a range of candles was the outcome, recreating the fragrances from the famous booklets. Made from vegetable wax and beeswax with a cotton wick, each candle will burn for approximately 50 hours.
Used as home decoration or a travel kit, our Papier d'Arménie® burners have been designed to produce perfect conditions for burning the famous scented strips indoors.
